Calendar for November 2014

Decided to start making a monthly background with the months calendar, just for the fun of it. If you like it, you can download the full (2560×1600) image here.

Last Saturday we woke up to a cold and crispy autumn morning with cloudless skies. The weather was so nice, that the camera had to get an outing with the boys. The ditches around the fields had frozen over during the night, catching leaves, air bubbles and whatnot in the process. The simple beauty of autumn.

Day 1…

A new year has begun. And new year’s resolutions are something that tradition says must be made. This year one of my resolutions is to start a 365 project. And I will require myself to take pictures every day, not just post new shots daily.

Some changes will probably be made to the layout and posting structure once I decide how to go about publishing shots when I get more than one that I’d like to show. And I’ll have to go through some backlog and either backdate shots or publish them in between the 365 shots. We’ll see how it goes.

Frozen seeds

Last weeks heatwave left a bunch of water on the fields and wetlands surrounding us. This weeks colder weather froze it all, once again transforming our surroundings.

Ice and blue sky

Sorry, I just can’t help it. But this’ll probably be the last icicle shot for a while. Maybe ;)
