I recently updated the firmware on my work phone. It isn’t that first time I’ve done it and it won’t be the last. And it seems like I face the same problems and issues every time. Well, not quite so. In the following I’ll walk through how things have changed since my first firmware update in 1998 (to a Nokia 8110i).
Matt starts off with Jeremy’s newly posted comment policies. Jeremy says that he nukes all comments that for which the author’s URL is a link to a non-weblog site. Matt appears to more lenient by allowing the URL to point to a personal site but not a business site. Dinah’s comment raises a very valid consideration.
This topic has been on my mind for some time now, I just haven’t had the time to write about it. The way phones ring has changed significantly in the last ten to twenty years.
