Autumn fog

A long time without posts (not for a lack of material). This is from today’s walk with the boys. As soon as the sun set, the nearby marsh started putting out a fog that spread onto the nearby fields.

2 rambles from others

  1. Beautiful and mystic. Isn’t it astounding what kinds of subjects can look mystic, when photographed the right way? :)

  2. @Andreas: Thanks.

I really don’t feel that there is really anything mystic about the shot, but it’s probably a result of seeing the sight every day. During the autumn even the fog is so common that it has lost some of its mystery – but not beauty.

While I didn’t really like the twilight light yesterday in this shot the bluish light works well. Many of the shots of our boys on the other had came out looking terrible (and no, it’s not a white balance issue ;)
