Sleet

You’d have to be feeling quite generous to call whatever was falling out of the sky today snow. Luckily it wasn’t quite water so the ground still looks white, but the snow cover is still way too shallow to be normal. After all, it is Eastern Finland in January.

A Finnish farmyard often sprawls quite a bit with sheds across the fields next to the forests. Some time ago the sheds were used to store hay during the winter. Now most of them are empty or full of junk, often just rotting away.
