Day 6 – Winter colors

This shot is a couple of days old and I almost posted it as a second shot the other day. I decided to save just in case today would prove to be a poor day photographically. We’ll, I did take several pictures, but shots of dogs in a dog show really don’t cut it here. So a recent archival shot will have to do.

I like how this shot shows the winter colors of Finland. On the other had we have the cold, bluish light from the snow and then the golden light from the low sun. At this point of winter, the sun never rises far enough above the horizon to change from sunrise/sunset coloration to anything else. At least midday doesn’t need to be avoided ;)
