Had an interesting morning fixing layout bugs in IE again. Yesterday, before I left work I fixed our intranet site to use floats instead of absolute positioning. IE had its own share of bugs, but that was to be expected.
I recently updated the firmware on my work phone. It isn’t that first time I’ve done it and it won’t be the last. And it seems like I face the same problems and issues every time. Well, not quite so. In the following I’ll walk through how things have changed since my first firmware update in 1998 (to a Nokia 8110i).
Matt starts off with Jeremy’s newly posted comment policies. Jeremy says that he nukes all comments that for which the author’s URL is a link to a non-weblog site. Matt appears to more lenient by allowing the URL to point to a personal site but not a business site. Dinah’s comment raises a very valid consideration.
